An independent guide to appliances sold in Australia. We read spec sheets, translate manufacturer jargon into standard terms, and help you narrow the field. That is information, not advice: we don't know your kitchen, your wiring or your circumstances, and nothing here is a professional recommendation to buy a particular product.

We don't sell appliances. If you buy one, your contract is with the retailer, and any warranty, delivery, return or refund question is between you and them.

We work hard on the data and we still get things wrong. Specifications come from manufacturers, government registers and retailer listings, and any of those can be wrong, out of date, or describe a different variant of the same model. Prices change daily.

Check the details with the retailer before you buy. Confirm the model number, the measurements and the price on the retailer's own page. If you find something wrong on ours, tell us and we'll fix it.

Quiz results are a shortlist built from what you told us. They are ranked by fit against the answers you gave, not by which product is best for everyone, and we cap the list at two products per brand so it doesn't fill up with variants of one line.

Use the site as a person researching a purchase. Don't use automated tools to copy, extract or collect our product data in bulk, and don't use data taken from this site to build a competing product database. We rate-limit, block or withdraw access where we think that's happening.

No affiliate partnerships are active yet. When they are, buying through a link on this site may earn us a commission, at no extra cost to you, and it won't change what we recommend or how we rank products. Our affiliate disclosure has the detail.

The writing, the design and the standardised specification data on this site are ours. Quote us and link to us freely. Republishing pages or datasets wholesale is not on.

We provide this site as it is, and we can't promise it will be available, be free of errors, or be right for your situation. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for loss you suffer from relying on it - including a purchase that turns out badly.

Nothing here limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or any other right that can't be excluded. Where a law implies a guarantee we can't exclude, our liability is limited to the extent that law permits.
